Description
The house of Peter I in Derbent is a small earthen hut where the emperor stayed during the Persian campaign in 1722. The status of the museum complex was assigned to the building in 2015, after carrying out archaeological field work. The colonnade above it was restored, and a monument to Peter I was erected nearby and a modern museum was built. The museum's exposition is based on objects discovered during excavations: old coins, bullets, pectoral crosses, fragments of weapons, etc.
