The Avar Music and Drama Theater was founded in 1935 in the village. Khunzakh, Khunzakh district, but a kind of creative foundation in the creation of a professional theater can be considered an amateur art circle, which in the post-revolutionary years began its activities at the Khunzakh military garrison. The appearance of the theater is original, despite the traditional space-planning basis. The main theme of the composition is a simple and majestic peripter, reincarnated into national Dagestan forms. Its cone-shaped supports are associated with ancient Caucasian towers. Roofing, balconies, supports, stairs are spatially coordinated; the contrast of the mighty pillars rising up and the light roof is the basis of the architectural image.
