Description
In 1913, the first museum in the entire pre-revolutionary history was opened in the Dagestan region. The permanent exhibition occupies 19 halls, there is an exhibition center, a children's studio. The main collection of the museum contains about 180,000 exhibits. Thematic exhibitions are held. The museum's funds include an ethnographic collection, as well as a collection of firearms and cold steel (Russian, European, Eastern and local production).
