Description

The Museum of Carpet and Decorative and Applied Arts is located in a unique architectural monument of the 19th century. Armenian-Gregorian Church, which was built in 1860 according to the project of the writer G. Sundukyan. Five sections of the exposition present exhibits that characterize the main types of crafts and crafts of Derbent and Dagestan in the 19th-20th centuries: ceramic production, copper-chased utensils, carpet art of Dagestan in the 19th-20th centuries, wood carving, silver products of Dagestan masters.
