Description
The juniper grove in the Sosnovka tract is a unique piece of nature where juniper oblongata grows. According to some reports, the age of individual trees, judging by the cuts, is 600-700 years. The juniper grove is a unique formation in the semi-desert zone of Northern Dagestan. It differs from the surrounding landscapes by the presence of some elements of the invertebrate fauna, characteristic of the mountainous and foothill part of Dagestan.
