This is a coniferous forest rich with mushrooms and berries, a pine forest, a botanical garden and of course the majestic mountains. There are 16 species of higher plants, 15 species of insects, 10 species of birds and 1 species of mammals among plants and animals included in the "Red Book" of Russia and Daghestan. The most striking representative is deservedly recognized as a unique Caucasian endemic - Radde's birch, in honor of which the boarding house is named.
