Dagestani chefs presented national dishes at the festival of Caucasian cuisine "KuNaK-2022"

On July 30-31, the capital of Karachay-Cherkessia – Cherkessk hosted the international Festival of Caucasian cuisine "KuNaK–2022" (cuisine of the peoples of the Caucasus), dedicated to the centennial anniversary of the region. Abdula Magomedov, First Deputy Minister for Tourism and Folk Arts and Crafts of the RD, took part in the festival. Dagestan, Azerbaijani, Armenian, Ingush, Adyghe, North Ossetian, Chechen, Ural cuisines and cuisines of the peoples of Karachay-Cherkessia, Kabardino-Balkaria, Stavropol were presented at the festival. A free tasting of dishes from famous chefs was organized for the guests. A team of professional chefs from the Republic of Dagestan prepared national dishes of the republic for the guests of the festival. To commemorate the centuries-old friendship of peoples and the joint work of regions, a solemn ceremony of laying a time capsule with recipes of authentic cuisine of the peoples of the Caucasus for posterity to open in 50 years took place at astrofest.
