Rostourism has selected 48 regions of the Russian Federation that will receive grants for the implementation of tourism projects in 2023. This was announced by the head of the department Zarina Doguzova in her Telegram channel. "In total, in 2023, within the framework of this measure, it is planned to support at least 1 thousand projects worth 5.3 billion rubles," Zarina Doguzova noted. The Republic of Dagestan has won grants in all three declared areas. The region will receive: – 132.1 million for the creation and development of beach areas and national tourist routes; – 81.7 million rubles for the creation of campsites and car camps; – 103.8 million for the purchase of tourist equipment, the creation of electronic guides, the development of a tourist environment for people with disabilities, the purchase of equipment for information centers and rental points, as well as the development of new tourist routes, including labeling, navigation, and the organization of recreation areas. Competitions to identify projects for grant support will be held in 2023. The financing is carried out within the framework of the national project "Tourism and the hospitality industry".
