Zdanie passazha
Description
The passage building (a monument of regional significance) was built at the beginning of the 20th century. Since 1927 it has been used as a covered market. Currently, there are shops in the passage. It is a high two-height building with a rectangular plan stretched along Tagi-Zade Street. The decorative design of the facades is loaded with stylized eclectic details. The main (side) facade along Kazi-bek Street stands out, accentuated by a central rhizolith in the form of a high pylon, in the upper part of which there is an early Arabic inscription and a later one with the date “1927” and the name “Covered Market of the City Council”.
